Our Beginnings

Nature Interactive was originally founded in the mid 90’s to assist the Garden Route, bringing together all the abundant eco-touristic activities and adventure companies in the hope that together they could increase the number of visitors to the region. Basically, any and all green operators were welcome to join, perhaps it was the first step to push eco-tourism in South Africa. Whilst it worked well for quite a time, it became apparent that some activity owners had begun entering into hospitality accommodations and therefore only willing to promote their own eco adventure activities. So, Nature Interactive as it was known then was taken over for its name. John Dias Ferriera, the owner of Mvubu Transfers and Tours then rebranded from eco-tourism function to ecological management/international/local game sales and consulting on land management issues as well as assisting with the drafting of Game Reserve Constitutions.

In between various contractual management agreements around Africa, Nature Interactive continued to offer services. By the end of 2022, John realized it was time to concentrate all efforts on the company and so in early 2023 Nature Interactive was re-registered and rebranded As Nature Interactive Consulting & Ecologics. Supporting all industries either wishing to, or through local and International legislations work for and with companies and entities to reach their goals of Nett Zero.

Conserving/conservation/preservation are all very different and yet all are linked. Nature Interactive Consulting and Ecologics helps bring all of these together seamlessly to ensure an extremely cost-effective long-term solution to reducing carbon use/production and most importantly carbon sequestration. John has won the prestigious and highly sought after Kudu Award for best Concession and sits on the board of trustees for a number of non-profit organizations such as Free me. Dulstroom Birds of Prey Centre as well as Second Chance Wildlife rehabilitation Centre.
